AUSTIN – Huston-Tillotson's volleyball needed a bit more time but ultimately came up with the same successful result in sweeping Texas College in three sets Tuesday.

Tuesday afternoon's win over the Steers matched HT's result from Monday, when they also defeated Texas College in three sets; it was the third Red River Athletic Conference win in four matches for the Rams.

Kennedy White led the Rams (4-10, 3-3 RRAC) with eight kills Tuesday, which was followed by seven kills from
Breana Clark. Clark hit .389 as she tallied her seven kills in 18 attempts with no attacking errors.

The entire Rams team refrained from hitting errors in the third set, as HT put away 17 kills without an error in 41 attempts in the final set of the day.

Elaina Spriggins,
Adeja Peterson, Amariya Cole, and
Sydnee Carrier all had four kills apiece in the match. Spriggins also handed out 29 assists.

HT's defense was led by
Kendall Bennett's 12 digs;
Chloe Gaytan tallied eight digs in the match.

The Rams visit New Orleans for their next two contests, a pair of RRAC matches at league-leading Xavier (La.) on Friday and Saturday. The Rams return home Tuesday, Oct. 10, when they host Schreiner in a non-conference match.
