Royce Dennis is an alumni of Huston-Tillotson University, and became the Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field in 2017. Coach Dennis trained for the 2004 Olympics and was a 5 time NCAA All-American. Dennis is a native of Jacksonville, graduating from Jacksonville High where he developed his desire and skills in sports and wellness training.

In 2018, men's track and field competed in the 4x100 NAIA Outdoor National Championships. For the 2022 Outdoor NAIA Championships, women's track and field competed in the 4x100 and 400 meters. 

Dennis holds a B.S. degree in Kinesiology- Human Performance and has twin boys (Keanon and Keylan) who also gradated from Huston-Tillotson University in Spring 2022.
