AUSTIN – Huston-Tillotson University's volleyball team continues its homestand this week as they host Texas College on Monday and Tuesday at Branch Gymnasium.

The matches against the visiting Steers were originally scheduled for Sept. 22 and 23. Monday's match is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, with Tuesday's contest scheduled to begin at noon.

The Rams are coming off a successful weekend that saw them split Red River Athletic Conference matches with Louisiana Christian, which entered Friday two spots ahead of HT in the league standings. HT claimed a big four-set win Friday, winning the last three sets in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.

In the win over LCU, the Rams got 10 kills apiece from
Kennedy White and
Sydnee Jordan, while
Elaina Spriggins handed out 38 assists.
Jaalin Rosser tallied 16 digs and seven kills, while
Sydnee Carrier had three solo blocks to go along with seven kills.

The Rams built momentum in the second set as they cruised to a 25-13 win and hit .312 during the frame. HT won the last two frames 25-23 and 25-19.

Saturday's contest saw LCU salvage a split as the Wildcats won in three sets. Rosser led the Rams with eight kills.
