NEW ORLEANS – Huston-Tillotson University's volleyball team swept the five weekly awards given by the HBCU Athletic Conference after going 3-0 with two conference wins between Sept. 15 and 21.

Morris recorded 37 kills with 21 coming in a five-set victory over the defending HBCUAC postseason champion Dillard University on Thursday. She averaged 3.70 kills per set and hit .258. Her performance helped the Rams take sole possession of first place in the West Division.

Fisher tallied 35 digs for an average of 4.38 per set. In the five-set victory over the defending conference champion Dillard University, she tallied 21. In Huston-Tillotson's two HBCUAC matches, she successfully received 52 of 54 balls for a .962 receiving percentage.

Taylor posted 57 assists, averaging 6.33 per set. She recorded a triple double with 18 assists, 11 kills and 10 digs against Southern University at New Orleans. Against Dillard, Taylor notched a double-double with 33 assists and 13 digs. Taylor also contributed 21 kills and five service aces.

The Rams return to action Friday, Sept. 26, when they host Philander Smith (Ark.). First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
