Wilashia is a senior kinesiology major at HT. Originally from nearby Temple, Texas, she began her collegiate career playing junior college basketball at Temple College in her hometown. Wilashia transferred to HT in time for the 2024-25 season and academic year. She led the Rams in scoring and rebounding in her first season at HT and was named to the All-Red River Athletic Conference Second Team.

As the Rams transition into the HBCU Athletic Conference, Wilashia has continued to lead the way for her team. She is the conference's leader in both scoring (18.9 points per game) and rebounding (14.5 rebounds per contest).
