AUSTIN – Huston-Tillotson University's women's basketball team returns to action Thursday when the Rams welcome the Tougaloo (Miss.) Bulldogs to Branch Gymnasium as part of HT's first-ever home HBCU Athletic Conference hoops doubleheader.
The Thursday home game against the visiting Bulldogs will be the women's basketball team's last home game of 2025. The Ram women will play seven consecutive road games throughout Texas during the month of December before their next home game on January 8, 2026.

ABOUT THE RAMS
• Huston-Tillotson is 3-1 at home this season, but saw their home winning streak snapped with a 65-45 loss against Our Lady of the Lake on Nov. 12
• The Rams seek their first conference win after opening league play 0-2 during a trip to New Orleans last month to face SUNO and Dillard
• HT is among the HBCUAC's top five in both forcing turnovers and giveaways; the Rams also rank second in the conference with six blocked shots per game

Wilashia Burleson leads the HBCUAC in both scoring (19.4 points per game) and rebounding (14.4 rebounds per contest);
Destiny Stanford averages 12.9 points and 5.0 assists per game for the Rams
• The Rams are coming off a competitive 67-58 loss at NCAA Division I Prairie View A&M two days prior to Thanksgiving
ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
• The Bulldogs are 1-3 on the road this season, and are also in search of their first conference victory
• Tougaloo split a pair of non-conference games with in-state HBCUAC rival Rust College, with each team winning on the road (Rust College competes in the league's East Division, and inter-divisional games do not count as conference games this season)
• The Bulldogs give up the most turnovers (30.3) per game in the conference, and give up the league's third-highest shooting percentage to opponents this season
• Shalayne Morgan leads the Bulldogs with an average of 14.5 points per game
