Inaugural Director of Athletics 3.0 Club welcomes 96 HT student-athletes

Eleven HT student-athletes hold a cumulative 4.0 GPA after the Fall 2025 semester

AUSTIN – Huston-Tillotson University's athletic department announced the formation of Director of Athletics 3.0 Club on Tuesday, which honors all HT student-athletes who have maintained a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) in their collegiate coursework.

The inaugural class of the Director of Athletics 3.0 Club includes 96 HT student-athletes who have maintained that GPA through the Fall 2025 semester. Furthermore, 11 of the 96 athletes honored have maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

Student-athletes who have earned membership into the AD's 3.0 Club exemplify hard work, discipline, and determination, while balancing the demands of competition with academic excellence. Their commitment to excellence in the classroom reflects HT Athletics' emphasis on holistic development and maintaining a culture of accountability.

"Academic excellence is the foundation of everything we do in Huston-Tillotson Athletics," said Vincent D. Robinson, Director of Athletics. "Earning a 3.0 GPA while competing at a high level speaks to the character, discipline, and commitment of our student-athletes. We are extremely proud of their dedication to success in the classroom and will continue to hold academics as our top priority.
