AUSTIN – Huston-Tillotson University's athletic department will re-establish its Hall of Fame during the 2026-27 academic year. The announcement was made Thursday, Feb. 12 during HT's 2025-26 Homecoming Week.
The inaugural Hall of Fame Class of 2027 will begin a tradition of honoring former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters who helped build and enhance the legacy of HT Rams athletics.
"Our current success is built on the foundation laid by those who came before us. The HT Athletic Hall of Fame ensures that our past stars are properly and permanently honored and remembered," Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Vincent D. Robinson said.
Individuals and HT teams are eligible for nomination and induction into the school's athletic Hall of Fame when it launches next year.
"The Class of 2027 will begin a legacy tradition rooted in pride, excellence, and Ram spirit," Robinson added. "It is time to celebrate our history and elevate our future."
A Hall of Fame Selection Committee is currently being assembled to examine nominations that our submitted by the HT community and its alumni.
