AUSTIN –
Huston-Tillotson University women's soccer coach Oriol Gimeno has released the Rams' 2026 schedule as they aim for a return to HBCU Athletic Conference championship tournament.

After finishing with a 7-7-1 record in 2025 – the team's first record of .500 or better since 2021 – Gimeno's squad aims to improve upon its success from last season and take another step forward in year two as a member of the HBCU Athletic Conference.

The Rams will play 16 regular-season matches, seven at home at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. HT begins the season August 13 with the first of two home scrimmages against junior college opponents.

The non-conference schedule starts with five consecutive road games, though the Rams' season-opener will not be a long trip, as they visit nearby the Concordia Texas campus for a match at that school's Boggs-Gardner Baseball Field.

The five-match road trip to open the season also includes trips to San Antonio (Our Lady of the Lake, Aug. 27) and Georgetown, Texas (Southwestern, Sept. 1). The Rams will then embark on road trips to Houston (North American, Sept. 3) and Fort Worth (Texas Wesleyan, Sept. 8).

HT plays its regular-season home opener Sunday, Sept. 13, when the Rams host longtime rival Texas College. After a Sept. 17 trip to Texas A&M–San Antonio, HT will then play four consecutive home matches, concluding with their HBCUAC opener against Tougaloo (Miss.) on Oct. 1.

The HBCU Athletic Conference dissolved its geographic divisions in soccer for the 2026 season, meaning the Rams will face every school in the league that fields a team. A road trip to Alabama to face Oakwood and defending league tournament champion Talladega awaits the Rams on Oct. 9 and 11; Talladega defeated HT 3-1 in last season's championship match.

The Rams play their final home games Thursday, Oct. 15, and Saturday, Oct. 17, when they host Jarvis Christian and Wiley. HT then concludes the regular season Oct. 24 at Paul Quinn.

HT's total non-conference schedule consists of seven NAIA opponents, two NCAA Division III opponents, as well as Arlington Baptist, a member institution of the National Christian College Athletic Association.

The HT community's first chance to see the Rams face intercollegiate competition is Thursday, Aug. 13, when the Rams host Western Texas College in an exhibition scrimmage.
